In this release, we have updated the Spot Quote’s Charges tab to include 3 new columns:
- Expected Cost (FXC)
- Expected Cost (LOCAL)
- Expected Profit (LOCAL)
These columns will only be available if the site has the system option ‘EXP_COSTS’ on. This can be requested by contacting Expedient Software support.
These new columns will operate the identically to the Job’s Charges Expected Cost/Profit columns:
- Expected Costs will auto-calculate based on Profit Margin (%) in the Alpha Charge Code Masterfile.
- If the charge code is set up in the Chart of Accounts with ‘No Markup Allowed = YES’, this field will not be enterable and default to 100% of the Bill To Amount (0% profit).
- When a Spot Quote is turned into a Booking or Job, the Expected Costs and Profit will also be pulled across.
