Release 07/07/21 – Import Order Tracking – Mass Update Supplier Invoice Numbers in Import Bookings and Jobs

This release provides a quicker method for applying Supplier Invoice numbers to multiple Orders on Import Bookings.

The option ‘Create Downloaded Supplier Invoice’, available in Order Management -> Imports -> Bookings, and Customs Processing -> Job Registration has been updated with a new Bulk Update section above the Orders table

Use the Bulk Update section where,

• You have multiple orders on the booking and want to assign the same Supplier Invoice Number to all the orders quickly
• You have multiple orders on the booking and want to assign the same Supplier Invoice Number to some of the orders quickly

To assign the same Supplier Invoice Number to all of the Orders on the Booking, use these steps

1. Enter a Supplier Invoice Number in the Bulk Update section
2. Click the ‘Select All’ button.  All rows in the Order table are highlighted
3. Click the ‘Apply’ Button.  All the rows in the Order table are updated with the Supplier Invoice Number
4. Click ‘Create’.  The Supplier Invoice Number is saved to all the Orders and the Downloaded Supplier Invoice is created

To assign the same Supplier Invoice Number to some of the Orders on the Booking, use these steps

1. Enter a Supplier Invoice Number in the Bulk Update section
2. Tab or click into the Order table
3. Select the set of Orders in the Order table that will have the Supplier Invoice Number by using either Ctrl + right mouse click, or Alt + right mouse click
4. Click the ‘Apply’ button.  The highlighted rows in the Order table are updated with the Supplier Invoice Number
5. Click the ‘Create’ button.  The Supplier Invoice Number is saved to the selected Orders and the Downloaded Supplier Invoice is created

The ‘Apply’ button will overwrite any Supplier Invoice Number that may already exist against the Order.

The validation on creating the Downloaded Supplier Invoice has not been updated.
