Release 15/07/20 – AU Customs – AEPCOMM Tariff validation check

In this release, Expedient will release a solution to perform AEPCOMM Tariff validate check before entry submission. If any site is interested in getting the function, please contact with Expedient Support.

The process will perform the validation check for the following:

  • If a Non-AEPCOMM accredited broker is submitting an import declaration with an AEPCOMM Processing Type.
  • If AEPCOMM Processing type is used for the tariff which is NOT subject to AEPCOMM
  • If the tariff which is on AEPCOMM list but has not been submitted with an AEPCOMM processing type.

How to set up?

  1. Go to Approved Arrangement Tariffs screen to register AEPCOMM Tariff.
    1. Path: administration -> Customs Clearance -> Approved Arrangement Tariffs
    2. The screen defaults to be view only, but a superuser can grant update access to nominated users via Administration -> User Permissions -> User Level Permissions (Update Mode)
  2. Go to User Masterfile to
    1. Add DAWR No
    2. Set AEPCOMM Accredited status
    3. Note: AEPCOMM/NCCC Accredited fields are only visible when DAWR No is entered.
