This release is to inform that the validation process feature is placed for Orig Code & Country code combination in the EDN.
Background
Customs doesn’t allow a user to entry “Country” field (Goods origin Country Code) if the “orig code” is not selected as “YY-FO, Foreign”.
Country field is the mandatory field only when the “orig Code” is selected as “YY-FO, Foreign”. If both AU Orig Code and Country are entered, the message will be rejected by customs.
Solution
If the Orig Code is entered as AU Origin Code e.g. AU-VI,not (YY-FO, Foreign) and the country field is also entered e.g. CN, a system Message will pop up as below and the Country code will be removed from EDN by expedient.
