This release provides an update to the EDI Manifest module to allow sending the EDI Manifest from the Air Import Consol Registration screen to the Bond.
The Agent Mapping screen has been updated with an option to set up a Bond to receive the EDI Manifest.
Once set up, a Messaging menu will appear in the Air Import Consol Registration screen and will include the option to ‘Send EDI Manifest’.
On selecting the option Expedient will check all mandatory information has been provided in the Consol and the House bills, then generate one XML file for all the House bills and send it to the Bond recipient. The Consol screen will indicate that the file has been sent in the EDI Date/Time and Sent? fields. An ‘EDIU’ event will be created in the Consol and in each Job on the Consol.
The Messaging menu includes an ‘EDI History’ option that shows the messages sent. Double click on a message to view the contents of the file.
The EDI Manifest can also be triggered from the Job using the ‘Send EDI Manifest to Bond’ option from the Messaging menu in the Job screen. This option will send the EDI Manifest for this House Bill only.
