This release provides security on the Account Control field in the Customer Masterfile, Debtors tab to restrict access for addition and update of this information.
If you are interested in restricting access to this field please raise a ticket in Support Tracker.
When your site has been provided with the ability to restrict access the security for the Account Control field is controlled by the Super User.
To allow access:-
- Open the User Masterfile and find the user.
- Go to the User Options in the Options Menu.
- Set the DB_ACCT_CTRL setting to ‘Y’ and click OK.
This user will be able to add and update this field. Users without this setting will see the field is greyed out and cannot edit.
