In this release, we’ve added a new auto-rating method ‘Company Tariff Calculator’
Similar to the ‘Cost Tariff Calculator’ method, the Company Tariff Calculator method allows a customer rate to be linked to a company tariff rate.
E.g.
If I have a customer rate and selected the ‘Link to Company Tariff’ button at the bottom of the screen
The system will search for matching rates in the Company Tariff.
If I then select ‘Apply with Company Tariff Method’, my line will be linked with Method = Company Tariff Calculator
Customer rates can be linked to Company Tariff rates at both the header and charge line levels.
Selecting the ‘Results’ button, will display the summed value of the link.
Example:
I have a customer rate, linked to a company tariff rate with Method = Basic
Company Tariff:
Customer Rate:
For the Customer Rate amount, we sum the following columns from the Cost Tariff:
- Flat/Min
- Per Unit
- Base
- Max
To get our results:
Let’s say we’re auto-rating an air job, with a chargeable weight of 10.00KG
We multiple the weight of 10.00KG * $30.00 per unit = $300.00
+ $101.00 (Base)
= $441.10
+10% uplift for the Calc on the Customer rate
=$330.00 + ($330.00 * 0.1) = $363.00
Total Charged for Overseas Cartage $441.10
