This release has updated the Email Senders field in the user configured reports and Shelved report screens to allow sites to control the domain name listed in a recipient “from” address. These measures have been applied to increase security to prevent users from spoofing. Sites will be able to allocate multiple domain names for users to choose from. These domain names will be added to each site as per the email sent titled “Expedient Report ‘Email Sender’ Field Changes”, requesting confirmation of your approved domain name/s. If your approved domain name needs to be changed at any stage please lodge a support ticket and our support team will assist you.
Users are now required to select a domain from a combo-box in the Email Sender field.
The combo box will contain a list of authorized domain names for your site. The screen impacted by the update are:
- User configured Report Scheduling (Job Reports)
- Container Management Report Scheduling (Container Reports)
- Order Management User Configured Report Scheduling (Order Reports)
- Shelved Report Scheduling (Shelved Reports)
- Accounting Report Scheduling (Accounting Reports)
- Batch EOM Statements
Please note the following scenarios regarding Automatic reports that are already set up:
- If an auto-report is previously set up to be sent with an invalid domain, after this release, it will be sent with the default domain instead, as well as “donotreply” as the username.
- If an auto-report is previously set up to be sent with a valid but not default domain, after this release, it will continue to be sent with the valid but not default domain.
- After this release, if an auto-report is sent with a blank domain, it will be sent with the default domain instead.
