This release includes the addition of a new configuration field “Allow update with linked bookings/shipments” on the global and personnel partner portal administration screens.
This field has been set to yes by default to maintain current functionality. When set to yes (ticked), if user has update permissions for orders, they can update all open orders regardless of whether they are linked to a booking/shipment. This is recommended if you are doing split orders and want to allow your partner portal users to add new products / update information on the order.
If this is set to no (unticked), once a booking or shipment has been linked to the order, users can no longer update the order on the partner portal. When this is the case, users will see a message at the top of the order screen informing them that they cannot update the order. Users can still add notes to orders once they have been linked to a booking/shipment.
