This release includes an update the content of the FWB and FHL messages to correctly identify USCI or ABN references in accordance with China requirements
Expedient will now do the following
Where Shipper = Agent in the Air Export Consol Registration screen, Address Details tab and the Agent country is CN, the FWB China ID field will appear and will be automatically populated with the ABN from the Customer Masterfile for the Agent. The Air Export Consol screen will display ‘ABN’ and the first 11 characters, however the message can include different information
- Where the ABN is 18 characters, the message will include the 18 characters and label the reference as USCI
- Where the ABN is not 18 characters, the message will include the first 11 characters and label the reference as ABN
Where Shipper = Forwarder in the Air Export Consol Registration screen, Address Details tab and the Forwarder country is CN, the FWB China ID field will appear and will be automatically populated with the ABN from the Customer Masterfile for the Forwarder. The Air Export Consol screen will display ‘ABN’ and the first 11 characters, however the message can include different information:-
- Where the ABN is 18 characters, the message will include the 18 characters and label the reference as USCI
- Where the ABN is not 18 characters, the message will include the first 11 characters and label the reference as ABN
Where Consignee = Shipper in the Air Export Consol Registration screen, Address Details tab and the Shipper country is CN, the FWB China ID field will appear and will be automatically populated with the ABN from the Exporter Consignee Masterfile. The Air Export Consol screen will display ‘ABN’ and the first 11 characters, however the message can include different information:-
- Where the ABN is 18 characters, the message will include the 18 characters and label the reference as USCI
- Where the ABN is not 18 characters, the message will include the first 11 characters and label the reference as ABN
The Air Export Job Registration screen will behave similarly in the Shipper/Consignee tab for the Shipper Details, by populating the FWB/FHL China ID field with the ABN for the Shipper from the Customer Masterfile for the Shipper

A future Expedient release will match the reference labels displayed in the Consol and Job screens to the content of the FWB/FHL messages
