IATA –FWB/FHL Message change to include USCI for Exports to China for Air Exports
Where the Consol/Job has a destination of China it is now required to populate a new Value on the FWB and FHL message.
This attribute is the OCI attribute and requires one of the following codes:
- USCI – Unified Social Credit Code
- AAAA – Other code
- ID – Personal Identification Number
- Passport – Passport Number
- ABN – Australian Business Number
For Shipper – the ABN will be used and must be populated in Customer Master File
For Consignee – New fields to populate on the Export Consignee Masterfile:
- FWB/FHL China Code
- Choose from drop down – code type
- Enter Relevant code
The consignee data is only available for update on the Export Consignee Masterfile.
When selecting shipper and consignee on Consol and Job, if the shipment is destined for China the relevant code will be displayed, but cannot be edited here. If change required change on the appropriate masterfile
Also note that when submitting the FWB and FHL messages form the NAWB options toolbar on the Export Air Consol screen, if the OCI (ABN or USCI, etc) is not available, you will get an error message preventing you from sending the code. As per above, add the code to the Consignee or Customer Masterfile as appropriate.
