This release provides the ability to make changes to your ISO Port Code Masterfile. Expedient will continue to provide your site with the full list of UN specified ISO Port Codes and IATA codes as they become available but you are now able to make changes to the place names and add IATA codes where these have not been provided by UN. When the Masterfile is updated by the UN list your changes will remain.
Expedient will also advise you when a port code will be removed and will advise you of the replacement port code where this has been provided by UN.
E.g.
Where the Port Code has been updated the name of the user and when the change was made will be shown. If a port code has expired, or is about to expire, a warning message will show when the code is used and at the time of submission to AU Customs for Import and Export entries. The alternative port code will be shown in the message where an alternative port code has been provided.
