Release 06/09/17 – AU Customs Clearance – Customs Entry [N10/20] – Submit Amendment & Pay Function

This release includes the enhancement as below:

  1. When the entry is amended, “Submit Amendment” toolbar will replace “Submit Entry” to submit entry amendment without payment.
  2. When the entry is amended, “Submit Amendment and Pay” toolbar will be added to submit entry amendment and pay outstanding payable amount at the same time.
  3. “Submit Amendment” and “Pay entry” can be implemented separately. “Submit Amendment” only submit amended entry to customs without payment.    Note: “Submit Amendment” should not be used for entry refund, as bank detail is required for refund process. Users should use “Submit Amendment and Pay” for entry refund purpose. A warning message like below pops up, when users click “Submit Amendment” to amend an entry with RRC code.

  4. “Pay entry” will be inactive  unless there is an outstanding payable amount.
  5. Users are allowed to pay the HELD entry to customs in advance. A warning message like below pops up, when users click “Submit Amendment and Pay” or “Pay Entry”.  Please note that payment/refund will not be processed by ICS until the entry status is CLEAR.

 6. If the entry is amended and has not been submitted to customs (EDI Status: Successful but Modified), “Pay Entry” will be inactive, until the amended

entry is submitted to customs via “Submit Amendment” or “Submit Amendment and Pay” function.
