Release 01/02/17 – AU Customs – Automatic Classification of Import Parts for Export

This release allows Parts to be classified for Exports at the same time they are classified for Import.  This is a time saving where Import Parts are on Shippers Invoices.

Where the Import TLF used to classify the Part has an Export TLF matched to it in the TLF Masterfile the Part will automatically be classified for Export with the Export TLF

E.g. Part ABC001 is classified with Import TLF IMP123.  In the TLF Masterfile IMP123 is linked to Export TLF EXP789.  Therefore Part ABC001 is automatically classified for export with Export TLF EXP789.

The above process will happen where parts are classified in the Supplier Invoice and in the Pre-Job Supplier Invoice.

If there is no Export TLF in the TLF Masterfile for the Import TLF the part will not automatically be classified for Export.

A similar process will occur when the Sundry > Load Part File option is used and the Export TLF is not provided in the file.  Expedient will use the Export TLF stored in the Import TLF Masterfile to classify the Part for Export unless the file explicitly contains the Export TLF.

The Customs > TLF Masterfile has been updated to include an Export TLF field.  Use the zoom to see available Export TLFs and use ADD [F1] if a new Export TLF is required.

The zoom on TLF in the Classify screen in the Supplier Invoice and Pre-Job Supplier Invoice screen has been updated to show the Export TLF associated with the Import TLF.

Please review the Export TLFs stored in the Import TLF Masterfile to check the correct Export TLFs are applied during Import Parts Classification
