This release provides a new feature to flag if your company is responsible for transport or not. This will affect the Milestones that populate the job, as well as Autorating for Transport.
Import Job
In the Import Job > Delivery Tab screen, when the Deliver to Code, or an address line, as well as the Carrier code is entered, the responsible for transport flag will default to Yes. Users can change this in the job.
Export Job
In the Export job > Export Cartage Docket Screen, when the Pick up From, or an address line, as well as the Carrier code is entered, the responsible for transport flag will default to Yes. Users can change this in the screen.
Customer Masterfile Set Up
Within the customer masterfile you have the ability to default the addresses that your company is responsible for transport or not. This will then default into the jobs when the Delivery Code is selected and the Carrier Code is entered in the job.
Go to Customer Masterfile > Delivery Addresses Screen > Address Configuration Tab.
Within this tab you can set the entire address to not responsible for transport or you can leave the default as YES and nominate which modes of transport that your company is not responsible for. The below example shows that my company is responsible for transport for this nominated address however my company does not handle transport for Air Import Or FCL Export transportation for this address.
Autorating Rules
Import
- Air & LCL: Autorating will check the delivery tab to ensure that your company is responsible for transport before checking for any transportation rates
- FCL: Autorating will check the delivery tab or each container if an alternative delivery address is entered, and only apply rates for the containers that your company is responsible for the transport.
Export
- Autorating will check the cartage docket to ensure that your company is responsible for transport before checking for rates to apply. In the case that there are multiple cartage dockets created for the same job, the system will use the 1st cartage docket to check if your company is responsible for transport.
Milestones
Milestones have been enhanced to include jobs where your company is responsible for Transport.
When the Responsible for Transport’ is changed the milestones will be revised on the job.
Existing milestones will be duplicated to include transport.
User Configured Auto Reports
User Configured Auto Reports include the option in the Selection Criteria to include all jobs OR only the jobs where your company is responsible for transport.
