This release provides the ability to load vessel arrival information into the Vessel Masterfile from PortConnect for Auckland and Tauranga.
If you would like this option please raise a Support Ticket with Expedient Software quoting code ‘NZTRGAKL’.
This option provide a ‘Load File’ toolbar button in the Vessel Masterfile. From this screen you can load the csv file downloaded from the PortConnect website: https://www.portconnect.co.nz/VesselSchedule. Filter the output to create separate files, one each for Port of Auckland and Port of Tauranga.
Use the Port Templates show in the Load File screen below to load each file
Importing the file will
- update your Vessels Masterfile
- update any Consols and Jobs (ETA) linked to the vessels and voyages
- send the User Options reports to Users that have these reports set up in their User Masterfile > User Options screen
This option will also allow you to access the Vessel Code field in the Import Job Registration screen so you can select a vessel from the Vessel Masterfile (which also populates the Lloyds Number) or select a vessel from the NZ Customs Craft List in the Vessel Name field so you can pass validation for Customs Entries.
Please note the Load File option will fail if PortConnect have missing Lloyds Number or text where dates are expected. Remove these lines from the file to begin the load process again
