This release allow you to add your client’s required delivery date and time for Air Cargo to the Import Job.
The Delivery tab in Import Job Registration will show the Required Delivery Date & Time fields where the job type is AIRFREIGHT
The Required Delivery Date and Time will be added in booking requests sent to Direct Courier through EDI and the Required Date and Time will be printed on Air Cargo Delivery Dockets. The Required Date and Time can also be reported in the User Configured Automatic Reports for Import Jobs.
Where the carrier on the job is Direct Couriers and you have the Carrier EDI interface with them, the Available Date is no longer mandatory but the Required Delivery Date and Time is according to the following rules:
- Required Delivery Date must be provided and it must be today or greater than today
- Required Delivery Time is always required if Job Type is AIRFREIGHT
- Required Delivery Time is required if the Job Class is LCL and the Required Delivery Date is today
Please note that for Direct Couriers only the required date and time of the first LCL container on the job is referred to and sent in the message to the carrier.
