This release provides the ability to update Expedient directly with information supplied by PortConnect on Container movements in ports Auckland and Tauranga.
Each time a container is added to an Import Job a request is automatically submitted to PortConnect to receive all movements for that container.
PortConnect can supply information on the following
- Arrival Date and Time of the vessel the container is on to the Destination Port
- Storage Start Date
- Discharge Date and Time
- Available Wharf Date and Time
- Gate Out Date and Time
- Customs Release Date and Time
- LOP Release Date and Time
Each update from PortConnect will be loaded into Expedient to update Container Management and Import Jobs and will appear in Container Management manual and automatic reports, User Configured Container Management reports and the Web Portal.
PortConnect can also update Import Jobs if the Arrival Date/Time for the vessel is different to the ETA Destination in the Import Job. Updated ETAs can be notified to your clients using the Automatic Report code SEAIMPETAU.
If you would like to set up an interface between PortConnect and Expedient, and you have an account with PortConnect please raise a Support Ticket with us quoting ‘PortConnect’.
