Release 28/04/16 – AU Customs – Load CP Answers

This release provides the ability to upload answers to CP Questions, including Permit information, from a CSV file.

The Unanswered CPs report is now available in a CSV format.  The report had additional columns

  • Permit Required – this will display ‘YES’ if a Permit is required for the CP Question
  • Permit Number – left blank
  • Permit Expiry Date – left blank

These columns have also been added to the XLS version of the report.

You can add update the CSV file in Excel adding the Answer(either YES or NO), add the Permit Number if known and the Permit Expiry Date if known.

A Load Parts File options is available from the Options menu in the Supplier Invoice if you are permitted to answer CP Questions in your User Options.

The option opens a Load File screen

The format for the CSV file is configured in this screen.

The DEFAULT template matches the output of the Unanswered CP Questions CSV report.  Click the Browse to select your file.  Expedient will add your CP answers to the CP Questions for each part in the Parts Masterfile and add Permit Information where provided to the Client Document Register.

After loading the file Expedient will reset the Unanswered CPs flag in the Supplier Invoice screen.
