This release provides an update to the Security Declaration document normally generated with the Master Airway Bill from Air Export Consol Registration. The Security Declaration is the format stipulated by IATA and required to be in use by 1st October 2015.
To provide the information in the new Security Declaration the following changes have been made within Expedient.
- The Administration>Company Details Menu>Company Details screen has been updated to include the Regulated Agent RACA Expiry Date. This date is required to be shown on the form and included in the FWB message to the airlines.
- The Export Air Job Registration screen Goods and Handling tab has been updated to allow you to enter Security Declaration details. When the Special Handling Codes SCO, SHR or SPX are added to the Special Handling Instructions list the Security Declaration section will appear.
- Enter the Screening Methods or provide an Exemption Reason. If the Job has been flagged as Dangerous Goods in the Job Details tab you will be required to answer the question about Lithium Batteries.
All the Security Declaration answers for any Houses in the Consol will be collated and will be included in the Security Declaration print and in the FWB message from the Consol.
