This release provides an update to the Aviation Security tab in the Customer Masterfile and a check on the Exporters Regulated Status on submission of EDN to AU Customs.
The Customer Masterfile>Aviation Security tab has been updated with a new flag to identify how the Exporter was regulated. Select from the pull down list.
An Email address has also been added to the Security Contact Information section in the tab.
A new overnight process is available that will turn the Regulated Client Status to ‘No’ when the Expiry Date in the Aviation Security tab passes. This will not turn the flag to Yes if the Expiry Date is extended into the future. If you would like this automatic process to run at your site please raise a Support Ticket quoting code ‘Cron REGCLISTAT’.
Expedient can check the Regulated Client Status on submission of EDN for the Exporter. If you would like this functionality please raise a Support Ticket quoting code ‘AVISECEDN’.
On selecting Submit EDN in the EDN Entry screen Expedient will do the following :-
1). Check the User has valid Aviation Security by checking the Expiry Date in the User Masterfile has not passed. If the User does not have valid Aviation Security clearance they will see the following message and they will not be able to continue with the submission.
2). Check the Exporter has Regulated Client Status ‘Yes’ in the Aviation Security tab of the Customer Masterfile. If the Exporter does not have Regulated Client Status the following pop up screen will appear requiring the User to add a reason for overriding the Regulated Security Status and add notes to accompany the EDN submission.
On OK the submission to AU Customs will continue.
The reason for the Aviation Security override and the accompanying notes can be accessed within Client Notes which are available from the Customer Masterfile toolbar.
