Release 15/07/15 – AU Import Forwarding – Cargo Availability Notification updates

This release provides the ability to manually generate an Air Cargo Availability Notification from the Air Import Job Registration screen where a Manifest Outturn has been submitted and includes updates to the automated LCL and Air Cargo Availability notifications.

Manual Air Cargo Availability Notification

Go to Notifications>Air Cargo Availability

This screen will list all the House Bills on the Job where a Manifest Outturn has been submitted.  Add notes to print on the document if required.

If there are multiple house bills on the job a notification per house bill will be generated.

Expedient will create a Cargo Availability Notification event ‘CNOT’ for each house bill.

Updates to the Air Cargo Availability Notice

This document, whether generated manually or automatically, will now include the following information

  • Master Air Way Bill number
  • ETA Destination from the Job
  • Available Date from the Job

Updates to Automated Air and LCL Cargo Availability Notifications

  • Automated notifications will only be sent when the Establishment ID for the Outturn or the Premise ID for the FCL Unpack matches the Destination Port for the House Bill.
  • The Destination Port Code and the Cargo Status (where this has been received) are included in the Email subject line.
  • The Cargo Availability Notification event ,‘CNOT’, is now accompanied by an Email event, ‘EML’, that shows all the email recipients in the Email Details screen
  • Where your site stores Documents against the Job with Expedient the notifications are automatically stored against each Job.
