This release provides the ability to remind users to send Pre-Alert Notifications when creating new Import Jobs, and Booking Confirmations when creating Export Jobs for specific customers. The Configuration tab in the Customer Masterfile has been updated with three new settings.
The Import Job Registration Pop Up section has been updated with a new flag, ‘Add Job – Pre-Alert Reminder’. When set to ‘Yes’ Expedient will remind the user to send a Pre-Alert Notification to the client when
- A new job is manually added in the Import Job Registration screen
- When a live job is created during the EDI Manifest process
- When a job is created from an Order
- When a job is created from a Shipment
- When an import job is copied and a new job is created
The Export Air Job Registration and Export Sea Job Registration Pop Up sections have been updated with a new flag, ‘Add Job – Booking Confirmation Reminder’. When set to ‘Yes’ Expedient will remind the user to send a Booking Confirmation to the client when
- A new export job is created in the Export Sea or Export Air Registration screens
- When an export job is copied and a new job is created
- When export jobs are created during the ‘Copy MAWB with House Bills’ process from the AU Export Air Consol Registration screen.
Please note when a new Importer or Exporter is created in the Customer Masterfile these flags default to ‘No’.
