Release 140821 – AU Export – PRA Re-Design

The PRA screen has been redesigned to improve productivity and reduce data entry time.

Main Changes:

  • Display of information on the PRA Entry Tab and Container Details Tab
  • Calculation of Job Class FAK details
  • Validate PRA Button

NOTE: The same rules still apply and there has been no change to the Terminal’s Requirements.

 

PRA Entry Tab

Please see below the main changes to this screen:

  • Field positions and groups have changed
  •  Container Field: Zoom Function included which shows containers that are attached to the Export Job along with the PRA status.
  • The PRA’s that need to be created for containers are located at the top of the Zoom. The containers where the PRA has been created are greyed out and shown at the bottom of the zoom.
  • Please see below screenshot for your reference.
  • Container Status has been changed to FULL and EMPTY
  •  Transport Type and Truck Rego No/Wagon No relationship; If Transport Type = Truck, then the Truck Rego No field will show. If Transport Type = Rail, then the field will change to show Wagon No
  • Extn. Code field – this information is retrieved from the Extn. Code field in the Export Job and will appear on the ACCEPT and REJECT email response from the Terminal
  • The quantity of Seal Numbers and Hazardous Lines are now placed in read only fields

 

FAK Conditions

Job Class = LCL/FAK (1 Consol + Multiple Jobs + 1 Container)

When the PRA is created for one of those Jobs – the PRA status (Export Job: Container Details Tab) is then updated against each of the other Jobs that are attached to that Consol with the same container. If the container number is the same on all the jobs, then the total sum will be calculated for the Gross Weight, Pieces and Volume.

 

Container Details Tab

Please see below the main changes to this screen:

  • Operating Reefer? Field is shown at all times, however is only enabled if the Type/ISO Code is a Reefer Container
  • Fields are positioned in more appropriate groups

 

Hazardous Details Tab

Please see below the main changes to this screen:

  • Mandatory columns are now highlighted in red – This is to ensure that it is in-line with the current business standard
  •  Line Items are highlighted for increased visibility

Seal Details Tab

Please see below the main changes to this screen:

  • Mandatory columns are now highlighted in red – This is to ensure that it is in-line with the current business standard
  • Line Items are highlighted for increased visibility

 

Validate PRA Button

The Validate PRA Button will execute the Terminals Mandatory requirements as per the message specification for that specific container. The results will be shown in the PRA Submission window, whether the validation has been successful or failed.

NOTE: The Validate PRA link is also shown in the Options Main Menu.

Job No: Expedient’s Internal Reference

Container No: The container number that the PRA is created for

Validation Status: Current Status of the Validation

Validation Errors: Total Quantity of the Errors

Validation Warnings: Total Quantity of the Warnings

Type: Type of message; Error or Warning

Location: Tab Location on the PRA screen

Message: Description of the error or warning message type

 

The following screenshot is an example of what is shown when there are errors after the validation is executed. The OK Button is disabled until the errors have been fixed, therefore you are not able to submit the EDN.

 

The following is an example of what is shown when there are no errors after the validation is executed. When the Validation is successful, then the OK Button is enabled and you are able to submit the PRA.
