In this release, Expedient is updating the Document EDI process with an option to allow Documents within the file to load without a mapping.
Previously, Document Codes needed to be placed into the Document Mapping table with the External Code to load in. If the Document Code in the XML file did not match an External Code in the Document Mapping table, then the Document Code would load in as UNA. In the EDI Configuration screen, there is a new combo box ‘Search the Document Masterfile for unmapped Codes?’. Enabling this combo box will allow the Documents loaded in via Document EDI to search the Document Masterfile for that exact Code. If the program finds a match, then the Document will load in with the Document Code that it has found.
If the combo box is set to No, then the Document Code in the XML file must match an External Document Code in the Document Mapping table to load in, like before.
