Release 01/10/2025 – Finance/Forwarding – Updates to the Job Charges sub-tabs

In this release, we have made the following changes to the Job Charges sub-tabs on the following screens:

  • Import Job Registration
  • Export Air Job Registration
  • Export Sea Job Registration
  • Added a Journals sub-tab
    • Tab displays all job journals by account number for the job
    • Tab includes buttons for the Job Journal and Journals Enquiry screens

  • Updated the Profit & Loss sub-tab
    • Billed has been renamed to Revenue
    • Paid has been renamed to Cost
    • The following columns have been added:
      • Expected Cost
      • Expected Revenue
      • Actual Profit
      • WIP
      • Gross Profit
      • Expected Profit
      • Gross Profit Margin %
      • Actual Profit Margin %
      • Profit Variance
    • The logic of what lines appear on this tab has changed, charges to disbursement liabilities codes that have been journaled to the corresponding income code will now show the actual profit on the same line, instead of two separate lines

      E.g.

Old process: AR invoice created on 2300 code, showing Billed and wip amounts.  corresponding 4310 code contains the journal movement from the 2300 code. This example is displaying a profit amount across both lines

New process: AR Invoice created on 2300 code, showing billed and wip amounts and any journaled amounts as Actual profit, no corresponding 4000’s code indicating the journal movement.

  • Update the WIPs sub-tab
    • Billed has been renamed to Revenue
    • Paid has been renamed to Cost
    • Journal has been renamed to Actual Profit
    • Order of columns has been changed to:
      • Revenue
      • Cost
      • Actual Profit
      • WIP
      • Profit Variance
    • The following columns have been added:
      • Expected Cost
