This release includes massive changes to the layout of the job financial enquiry screen.
1. Search Updates:
In Find mode, you can now search on all job/consol related fields on the screen. You now need to select whether you are enquiring on Consols, Jobs or both via the check boxes before entering any search fields.
After selecting what you are enquiring on, the searchable fields will update to reflect the possible search options. If you are searching by consols or consol and job you will only have the consol related fields available.
If you are searching by jobs only, you will have access to all job related fields.
After entering your search criteria you can use next/previous to toggle between all records found. We have also added a browse option and output to csv to the screen.
2. View all transactions against a GL code
The bottom half of the screen has been improved to have a tree structure, allowing you to see all transactions that have taken place against a GL code. When collapsed, the invoice details table will show as it previously did, showing the summed total paid/billed/journalled amounts. When expanded, each individual transaction will appear on its own line.
3. Additional columns in invoice details table
The GL breakdown table has been expanded to include the bill to party name, invoice numbers, transaction dates and where applicable the FXC equivalents that the invoice was posted at. This has been done in order to allow users to understand each transaction better and to make it easier for users to see where each transaction comes from.
If you are viewing the collapsed version of the GL table, these fields will only be populated if all records match. Otherwise, some such as invoice number will read “multiple” while others will be blank (eg currency).
