Release 09/06/21 – Import Forwarding – Restriction on linking bookings to jobs

As a result of our supplier invoice upgrades, in this release we have restricted the number of jobs that can be linked to an import booking to 1. For all customers, regardless of order tracking status, you can now only linkĀ 1 booking to a single job.

We have also removed the link bookings option from the order tracking menu on the import job registration screen. This option is now only available under the link menu.

Once a booking has been linked to the job, users will be provided with the option to unlink the booking. A new booking cannot be linked to the same job until this has happened.

Similarly, we have updated the import booking screen to restrict users from entering the same job number numerous times. The job number field is now only available if you use the link job option. This option is only available if the booking has been confirmed. When selected, users are placed in the job number field where they can free type a job number. An event is created against both the booking and job once the user selects ok.

After a job has been linked either via the link job function or create job, the unlink job option can be used to remove the booking from the job. When this is clicked, the user will be asked to confirm before the job number and consol being cleared from the booking. Events will occurs against both the booking and job when they are unlinked.
