In this release we have added packing location to the import booking screen. This field is optional and has been added to help in tracking where your suppliers/agents are packing your bookings.
For sites that do not have the Order Tracking module, packing location has been added to the bottom of the booking instructions tab – same as exports.
For sites that have purchased the Order Tracking module, the location of this address varies based on the customers order tracking status. If your customer has set up Order-Job, Part-Job or is not set up for order tracking, then the packing location will appear as above, on the booking instructions tab.
If your customer has import order tracking set up: Order-Booking, Part-Booking, Part-Booking Line, then the packing location is to be specified at the line level. For each line a different packing location code may be entered, allowing you to better track where your customers goods are located prior to shipping. The packing location field on the lines table contains a zoom where you can search for any address for any customer within the system.
In the top half of the zoom you can search for any record in the customer masterfile. The bottom half of the zoom will then provide you with a list of all addresses that have been assigned to that customer record.
