In this release, Expedient will extend our eCommerce scan function from Air Cargo to Sea Cargo as well.
Users are able to specify which cargo type they would like to scan by clicking the dropdown box on Transport Mode. By default, it will only be set as “Air”.
There is a zoom button on Container No field which will allow users to select which container to scan. By default, only the containers with ETA Destination within 7 days will display on the zoom screen.
When a container is selected, the Vessel ID/Voyage No/Master Bill will populate automatically and users are ready to scan House Label as current process.
The following scanning events will be available in SCR event screen when the Sea Cargo is scanned via Ecommerce Freight Scan.
- SCI – Sea Cargo Held for Collection
- The event will be inserted when the house bill is scanned and the house bill in HFC list.
- SCAR – Sea Cargo Ready for Delivery
- The event will be inserted when the house bill is cleared and checked out from the bond store.
- SCHD – Sea Cargo Scanned – Held
- The event will be inserted when the house bill is scanned with cargo status is held.
- SCIN – Sea Cargo Check In
- The event will be inserted when the house bill is first scanned.
