In order to prepare for our upcoming web portal, in this release we have made changes to the shipper field validation. Shippers are now required to be flagged as exporters within the customer masterfile to be valid and to be appear in the shipper field zoom.
Please note that we have changed the title of the zoom modal that appears to now read “export shipper” instead of “forwarder” to help users identify what company type is necessary for customers to appear. We have also updated the error message that appears if you enter a customer code that is not an exporter:
This will not impact any currently created jobs however, moving forward, in order to create a domestic job the shipper must be flagged as an exporter on the customer masterfile.
