Required for Automatic Trigger:
Import Job Registration
Bonded Warehouse Outturn
Setup steps:
Customer Masterfile
For the Client you want to send the Transport Booking EDI From, the Customer Masterfile entry will need to have both the Importer and Transport options set to “Yes”:
Once this is completed, there will be three flags that need to be set to yes, to give permission to the site to send Transport Booking EDI Automatically:
Customer Masterfile->Importer tab
Customer Masterfile->Transport (tab) -> Transport Booking EDI (tab):
Delivery Address:
Accessing Delivery Addresses through Customer Masterfile or the Delivery Address menu option will allow you to set each Delivery Address for sending the Transport Booking EDI.
Delivery Addresses (Toolbar option in Customer Masterfile):
Import Job Registration Set up
Import Job Registration will also require an entry into the Bond/Depot field for this process:
When the Customer Code is used in the Import Job Registration, there will now be a field on the Import Job Registration Delivery Address. This also needs to be set to yes. It will default to yes when the Customer Masterfile field and Delivery address are set to yes.
Import Job Registration->Delivery (tab)
Automatic Trigger steps:
Once an Import Air Job or an Import Air Consol has passed through the Bonded Warehouse Outturn system Expedient will check the following:
- The Job is flagged for Automatic Transport Booking EDI
- There hasn’t been a Transport Booking EDI sent manually
- The destination Port for the Housebill matches the Master Bill
- Expected Pieces matches arrived pieces
- All Outturns on the Job or Consol doesn’t have Damaged or Pillaged pieces
- The Job has a Date of Clearance (DOC) event.
Once these steps have been checked, Expedient will send the Transport Booking EDI Automatically.
If it fails the validation, it will create a fail event with a reference (TSRF)
The new functionality will be tied to the system options CAREDI_AUTO. If you would like to activate this functionality for your site, please raise a support ticket referencing this system option.
