This release includes an update to the Responsible for Transport flag in Import and Export Job Registration screens. This flag is used to identify a Transport job in Import and Export Job Workflow
Previously the Responsible for Transport indicator would be set when the Transport Provider code is populated and the Delivery Address code (Pick up address in Exports) is stored as ‘Responsible for Transport’ in the Customer Masterfile > Delivery Addresses > Address Configuration tab
Following this release, the Responsible for Transport flag will only be set by the Delivery Address code in the Import Job, or the Pick up Address code in the Export Job. The flag can be set with, or without, a Transport Provider code present in the Job
All processes that create new import or export jobs have been updated.
This includes
- manual creation of Jobs
- creation of jobs from Import or Export Orders and Shipments
- creation of jobs from EDI Manifests
- processes that may create jobs from a global system at your site
