This release includes an update to the Vessel Masterfile in NZ, to provide a quick method to load Vessel Schedules from Port Connect
Use the Load File button in the Vessel Masterfile screen to access the new PortConnect template
This template matches the Vessel Schedule csv file which can be downloaded from the Port Connect website: https://www.portconnect.co.nz/VesselSchedule
Select a report from the pull down list, select a date range, click Apply, and export the CSV file
Use the Browse button in the Expedient screen to load this file.
Expedient will update the Vessel Masterfile with ports, voyage numbers and dates where the Lloyds number in the file is found in the Vessel Masterfile, e.g. the voyage for vessel JPO VOLANS in the file shown above, updates the Vessel Masterfile shown below, because Lloyds Number 9430777 is found in the Vessel Masterfile
Expedient will skip rows in the file that are missing mandatory information or have invalid information, e.g. Voyage Number, or do not have valid information in the date columns, e.g. ‘Refer to Line’. Use the ‘View Details’ button in the Load file screen to check why information from the file did not load
When the file is successfully loaded and the load screen is closed, a prompt appears to update all import and export jobs and consols with the newly updated information for the vessels/voyages
Update User Options in the User Masterfile to receive a report of all jobs and consols updated by this process
