Release 31/07/19 – Customs(AU) – Non-broker can submit Pre-lodgements in N10/20

This release allows non-brokers to submit pre-lodgements. If any site is interested in the function, please contact Expedient Support.

A new user option has been added, SUBIMDPRE. When ticked, in the Customs Clearance -> Customs Entry [N10/20] the Communications option ‘Submit Pre-Lodge Entry’ is available to users who are not Brokers.

Brokers do not need to have this user option ticked to Submit Pre-Lodge Entries.

In order to allow a non-broker to submit a pre-lodgement, you have to set up a default broker no on User Masterfile. When non-broker is submitting a pre-lodgement, the default broker number will be used on EDIFACT Message. Only one default broker number is allowed per site.

Note: Default broker number is used for pre-lodgement only and will not be used for formal lodgement.

You can also nominate which non-broker can submit Pre-lodgement by ticking the user option below.
