Release 13/02/19 – Air Import Forwarding – Improved Stop Words matches in eCommerce

This release includes an upgrade to the matching of Stop Words in Air Cargo Reports within the eCommerce module.

The Stop Words Masterfile, found in Air Import Forwarding -> eCommerce Bond Warehouse -> eCommerce Maintenance -> Stop Words, has been updated with a new Match Criteria column.

This allows the way words are found in the Air Cargo Reports to be matched using the following rules

Start With – The option will look up the word in ACR > Goods Description field starting with the Text specified in the Stop Words Screen.  This means the stop word(s) can appear at the beginning of the description preceded by a special character.  Special characters include space, comma, semicolon, slash.  Expedient will find exact matches in the following instances

    • [special character][Stop Word][rest of the description] e.g. ‘/PILL’
    • [Stop Word][rest of the description] e.g. ‘PILLOW’

Exact Match – The option will look up the word in ACR > Goods Description field which is exactly matched with the Text specified in the Stop Words Screen.  This means the stop word(s) can appear in the description with special characters either side.  Special characters include space, comma, semicolon, slash.  Expedient will find exact matches in the following instances

    • [special character][Stop Word][special character] e.g. ‘/PILL/’
    • [Stop Word][special character] e.g. ‘PILL/’
    • [special character][Stop Word] e.g. ‘/PILL’
    • [Stop Word] e.g. ‘PILL’

Contains – The option will look up the word in ACR > Goods Description field which contains the Text specified in the Stop words Screen, i.e.

    • [other text][Stop Word][other text] e.g. ‘SPILLS’

The HAWB Masterfile screen will indicate which rows have goods which contain stop words according to the new match criteria, and processes that load Manifest Lines will also match Stop Words using the new criteria

The Output to CSV button in the Stop Words Masterfile has been updated to include the Match Criteria e.g.

The data in the file can be modified and loaded back into the screen using the ‘Load File’ button.  Update the Match Criteria column by using either the full match criteria description, e.g. ‘Contains’, or enter the first letter e.g. ‘C’, for Expedient to process the file.
