Sending Booking Requests and Shipping Instructions to INTTRA
When the module is activated at your site, there will be new Messaging options in the Export Sea Job Registration screen, if the Shipping Line on the Job is set to receive INTTRA bookings in the Customer Masterfile

The Customer Masterfile for your site as a Forwarder has also been updated to store your INTTRA ID.
Enter the ID INTTRA provided to your Branch in the highlighted field above. This INTTRA ID must be provided for all booking requests and shipping instructions sent via Expedient to INTTRA.
Different options are available depending on the current status of the communication with INTTRA, e.g. if a Booking has already been requested and confirmed, you are able to access the option to Cancel the booking, or Amend the booking
There will be additional fields in the Export Sea Job Registration screen to add information relevant to the Booking Request, and to view the INTTRA message status and references
On selecting the Messaging option, Expedient will check that all mandatory information required by INTTRA is present. This will include the SCAC code for the Shipping Line
When the message is successfully generated, Expedient will update the Booking Status, and create an event in the Job. You can also access the message history in the EDI History, Messaging option.
Expedient does not currently support the following bookings to INTTRA
- Out of Gauge containers
- Pre-carriage and on-carriage moves
- Shipper owned equipment
- Non-operating reefer
- Inner packing information
- Charges information
Expedient does not currently support ‘agent to agent’ Shipping Instructions to INTTRA
