This release includes an update to Import and Export Order Tracking to allow quick addition of Order Lines to a Shipment
Where you are creating a Shipment, for either Imports or Export, and you have added an Order Number to the Lines tab, you will be prompted if you want to add all lines on the Order to the Shipment
Clicking Yes will update the Lines tab in the shipment with all the lines from the Order where there is an outstanding balance. If the Order has been partially shipped, the outstanding Order Line amount will be added to the new shipment
Expedient will automatically populate the Order Number, Order Line Number, Supplier Part Number, Client Part Number, Part Description, Ordered and the Balance amount will added in the Shipped column. Please amend the Shipped Quantity if you do not intend to ship the Order Line outstanding balance on this shipment
You will see this prompt when
- you are creating a new Shipment from Import Order Tracking -> Order Tracking Input -> Shipments and you have either manually added the Order number to the Orders tab, or used the zoom in the Order No column
- you have created a new Shipment via the Shipments/Jobs toolbar button in Import Order Tracking -> Order Tracking Input -> Orders and you are tabbing through the Orders tab
- you are creating a new Shipment from Export Order Tracking -> Export Order Tracking Input -> Shipments and you have either manually added the Order number to the Orders tab, or used the zoom in the Order No column
- you have created a new Shipment via the Shipments/Jobs toolbar button in Export Order Tracking -> Export Order Tracking Input -> Orders and you are tabbing through the Orders tab
Expedient can also add lines from multiple orders if you have selected many orders in the Orders zoom in the Orders tab in the Shipment screen
