In this release, Expedient allows users to queue the original customs entry [N10/20] submission until DTVA, if DTVA is greater than today’s date.
This queuing option is controlled by system configuration. If any site who is interested to have this option, please contact with Expedient Support to turn on the option.
How to queue an entry?
If DTVA date is greater than today’s date, when “Submit Entry” or “Submit and Pay” is clicked, the system prompt like below will pop up.

- If “Yes” is selected, the entry will be queued and EDI status in the customs entry [N10/20] screen will be updated to “Queued for DTVA”. The entry will be submitted to customs on DTVA date automatically.
- If “No” is selected, the submission process will end.
If DTVA date is equal or less than today’s date, when “Submit Entry” or “Submit and Pay” is clicked, the entry will be submitted as per current process and the entry is NOT able to be queued.
Note:
1. Update is not allowed, if entry is queued.
2. Queuing process is only allowed for original submission, not for entry amendment.
3. Validation check will perform based on the date when “Submit Entry” or “Submit and Pay” is clicked rather than DTVA date.
4. Pre-lodgement is not able to queue.
How to dequeue an entry?
Dequeue an entry is only allowed by authorized users only. The authorization can be granted via User Masterfile>Options>User Options>N1020DEQUEUE
If the entry was queued by a user, but for some reason, dequeue process is required, the authorized user can go to Customs Entry [N10/20]>Communications>Dequeue to dequeue a queued entry. After the entry is dequeued, the EDI Status will be updated to “Not Submitted” and users is able to update and submit the entry again as required.
Event
If entry is queued for DTVA, a “QUES” event is updated.
3. If entry is dequeued for DTVA, a “DQES” event is updated.
