Release 22/08/18 – Customs Clearance (AU) – Customs Entry [N30] – Submit Amendment & Pay Toolbar

The following new toolbars have been added to Customs Entry [N30] Screen.

  • Submit Amendment
  • Submit Amendment and Pay
  • Pay Entry

The new toolbars is functioning together with existing toolbars “Submit Entry” & “Submit and Pay” to control submission and payment of N30 Entry. The logic is similar to the current Customs Entry [N10/20] screen.

Submit Entry

The function allows a user to submit the initial Customs Entry N30 without paying duty/GST and other charges.

Submit and pay

The function allows a user to submit the initial Customs Entry N30 and pay duty/GST and other charges together.

Submit Amendment

The function allows a user to submit N30 entry amendment to customs. The toolbar is only available when the entry has been initially lodged and amendment is made on the entry. The function will only submit the amendment, but will NOT pay duty/GST and other charges.

Note: As “Submit amendment” will not provide bank detail to customs, the function is not applicable for refund purpose. If entry refund is required, a user needs to use “Submit Amendment and Pay” toolbar which will pass the bank detail to customs for refund purpose if required.

Submit Amendment and Pay

The function allows a user to submit N30 entry amendment to customs and pay duty/GST and other charges together. The function is also used for entry refund if required.

Pay Entry

The function allows user to pay outstanding duty/GST and other charges without submitting the entry again.
