Release 11/07/18 – Order Tracking – User Configured Automatic Reports

This release includes an update to the Import Order Tracking Module to provide User Configured Automatic Reports.  These are similar to the existing Job level user configured automatic reports

Expedient can generate reports that will run automatically based on Orders and their linked shipments, jobs and containers.  You can set the report criteria, the columns in the report output, the order of the columns and the column headings.

The reports will display the client’s logo in the top right corner of the report if the report criteria specifies the Client code and the Client has a logo stored in their Customer Masterfile

Use the menu option Import Order Tracking -> Order Tracking Reports -> User Configured Auto Reports to set up the reports

The output tab controls which columns appear in the report, the source of the data (which screen the data is reported from), the order of the columns, how the columns are named and the sort order of the information.

The Delivery/Schedule tab allows you to set when the report will run and the distribution list.

There are options to copy reports, an option to manually trigger the report to it’s recipients, and an option to trigger the report to yourself only which is useful for testing the content and layout of your reports.
