The following screens are used to archive the parts that have not been used for quite some time; this is determined by the ‘Last Used’ field in the Parts Masterfile.
Archive Parts
The date in the ‘Date Part Last Used’ field looks at the ‘Last Used’ field in the Parts Masterfile and archives parts that have been ‘Last Used’ before the date entered. Once scheduled, the cron job is run daily – this process will then move the Part Number from the Parts Masterfile to the Archived Parts screen. It will also change the indicator in the Posted field from NO to YES. (Screenshot below)

Archived Parts
The archived part can then be viewed in the Archived Parts screen (screenshot below). If a part has been archived then it will not show in the Parts Zoom, however you can manually enter the archived part number in the Suppliers Invoice – it will then automatically be back in the Parts Masterfile.
