This release provides an update to Manifest EDI to allow codes in the incoming manifest files to be mapped to your Expedient codes. You will be able to store your overseas agents’ codes to speed up the process of creating live Consols and Jobs from the incoming manifests
The following codes can be mapped to Expedient codes
- Client Code
- Supplier
- Shipping Company
- Vessel Code
- Package Type
A new tab has been added in the Manifest EDI > Agent Mapping screen to identify and map the incoming codes
Expedient will check if codes for the Customer, Supplier, Vessel, Package Type and Shipping Company have been provided for the agent who sent the Manifest. If mapping exists, the Expedient codes will appear in the Consol Holding and House Holding screens. This will make the creation of live Consols and Jobs from the manifest file quicker.
