Release 16/08/17 – AU Customs Clearance – Customs Entry [N10/20/30] – Charges toolbar button

The Charges toolbar Button in customs declaration has been enhanced.

  • If the entry has not been submitted/pre-lodged to customs, charges toolbar function remains unchanged and it will provide an estimated charged by expedient system.

  • If the entry has been submitted/pre-lodged to customs. The charge screen will display the actual charges returned by customs via CUSRES Message (customs response message).

Please note:

  1. All information display in Charge Information section are sourced from customs response to user’s latest version of import declaration. All relevant charge transactions or deferred amount will display in this section.
  2. Outstanding payable is also sourced from customs response to user’s latest version of import declaration.
  • If users have paid the entry before the amendment, the outstanding payable only display the total outstanding amount owning to customs on this amendment (Not total payable amount for the entry).
  • If users have not paid the entry before, the outstanding payable may be the same as total payable amount for the entry.
  • If refund is processed, the outstanding payable will display with “Negative sign”. e.g. -40.00 means that 40.00 has been refunded from customs on latest version of import declaration.

3. Outstanding payable is not an indicator for payment status. It means that even users have paid the entry in full, outstanding payable remains in charges screen. It only indicates that there is outstanding amount payable on latest version of import declaration.

4. AQIS Payment History will display all the AQIS payment by transaction with payment date.
